Dr Edwin Ten
BDSc Hons. (Melb)
Dr Ten is a respected dentist in Melton. He has patients from the local area as well as all over Victoria coming for current treatment and continued care. He graduated from the University of Melbourne with honours in 2000 and worked in several private practices over the following 6 years. He opened Woodgrove Dental in June 2007 and is proud to say the practice has grown rapidly ever since. Dr Ten enjoys all facets of General Dentistry, and has a keen interest in Cosmetic Dentistry, Veneers, Crowns and Bridges as well as Orthodontics. He Enjoys helping his patients achieve all their dental needs. Dr Ten likes to fully explain his findings and treatment plan with the uttermost care. His friendly personality enables patients to relax during their treatment and build a strong patient/dentist relationship.
Monica
Dental Therapist/Hygienist
Monica graduated from university with a dual qualification in dental hygiene and dental therapy. With a passion for delivering quality dental care, Monica has gained experience in providing care for individuals of all ages and backgrounds. She has developed an interest in paediatric dentistry and management of periodontal disease, and is very approachable and comforting, ensuring that you have a great dental experience! Monica is passionate about all aspects of Oral Health with a specific interest in raising awareness about gum health and prevention of gum disease. She believes oral health education is the key to quality of life.
Karen
Practice Manager
Visits to the Dentist are often considered nerve wracking, Karen is the first smiling face to welcome you to Woodgrove Dental. With her compassionate and caring nature as well as her accommodating can do attitude nothing is every too much trouble for her. She will efficiently book your appointments, receive your calls and is always happy to answer any questions you may have. Karen has had many years experience in the Dental field, she will listen to your concerns and go the extra mile to assist. She can help you set up payment plans and give you options for health insurance or government initiatives such as the Child Dental Benefits Scheme or early Superannuation release, if eligible. Karen follows up with our Patients Aftercare following their treatment and organises patient education materials.
Vanessa
Senior Dental Nurse
Vanessa is a qualified dental nurse with many years’ experience, Vanessa also does Reception duties and she keeps our patient recalls up to date as well. Vanessa will happily answer any questions you may have regarding your dental treatment. She works Chairside assisting Dr Ten throughout your visit and with her calming and caring nature Vanessa will ensure you feel as comfortable as possible during your visit ensuring you have a great dental experience.
